What Is Cable Laid Grommet?
JF Brand cable laid grommet is a sling in the form of an endless loop, made from 6 strands twisted around one core wire. They are made to a strict quality control plan to ensure consistent quality, and they perform well in demanding applications.
Cable laid grommets are often used in applications where high levels of strength are required, such as in rigging or lifting applications. They are also more difficult to install than standard grommets and should be installed by a qualified professional.
Types of Cable Laid Grommet
In our SichWirerope cable laid grommets manufacturer, we mainly have 2 types of cable laid grommets: general purpose, and high-performance with EN13414-3:2003, GB/T30587-2014 standards.
General purpose cable laid grommets: The rope belongs to the 6*37+FC type with rope grade 1670MPa.
High-performance cable laid grommets: Wire rope pattern series 6×37(a), 6×61(a), 8×61(a), and 8×61(ab) are used in the grommets listed above, their nominal tensile strength is 1770MPa.
They all have 3 styles: single leg cable laid grommet, double leg, and quad leg cable laid grommet.
