Your guide when using Grade 80 lifting chains:

Do:

Ensure that the lifting chain is in good condition before each lift.
Make sure there are no twists in the chain legs.
Make sure the load is centered on the hook and not on the end.
Make sure that Grade 80 alloy lifting chains are used by trained and competent personnel. Improper use may result in injury or property damage.

Do not:

Overload the chain beyond its maximum load capacity. Carry at an angle greater than 120 degrees.
Apply any kind of shock load to the chain.
Do not use Grade 80 alloy slings in pickling tanks, acid tanks, or any corrosive environments.
Do not immerse the chain or subject it to heat treatment.
Do not use chains and/or accessories outside the temperature range of -20°C to +200°C.
