The US Type Drop Forged Hot-Dip Galvanized Eye & Eye Turnbuckle
is a heavy-duty steel tensioning component designed for controlled adjustment
of tension and assembly length in wire rope, cable, structural bracing and
industrial tensioning systems.
Featuring closed eye fittings at both ends, this turnbuckle
provides secure attachment points for compatible shackles, pins, pad eyes
and other suitable rigging connections.
The open-body construction incorporates right-hand and left-hand threaded
end fittings. Rotating the central body allows the connected assembly
to be tightened or loosened without rotating the attached cable.
Its drop forged steel construction provides mechanical
strength, while the hot-dip galvanized finish offers
corrosion protection for outdoor and industrial environments.
The Eye & Eye turnbuckle consists of two permanently
closed eye fittings connected through a central open-body tensioning frame.
Unlike Jaw & Jaw turnbuckles, which incorporate clevis fittings with
removable pins, the Eye & Eye design provides a closed eye connection
at each end.
These eyes can be connected using appropriately sized and rated shackles
or other compatible connecting hardware.
The open-body construction provides access to the threaded sections
and allows controlled adjustment of the assembly length.
The hot-dip galvanized coating helps protect the steel against corrosion.

The supplied reference data states a proof load of 2.5 times WLL
and a safety factor of 5:1. These values require confirmation
for the actual Eye & Eye model supplied.
Never exceed the manufacturer’s specified Working Load Limit.
Eye & Eye turnbuckles should be loaded in
straight-line tension only, unless otherwise permitted
by the manufacturer.
